At KONE corporation (elevator and escalator producer) from Finland, I take part in the deployment process for the new maintenance offering digital tool. My main task is to represent the “global way” of business and tool’s tech specs to the local teams and make sure the deployment fits PM requirement gates. 

KONE Oyj, founded in 1910 and headquartered in Espoo near Helsinki, Finland, is an international engineering and service company employing some 55,000 personnel across 60 countries worldwide. In addition, KONE builds and services autowalks, automatic doors and gates.  

My story with KONE started back in 2011 when I was a trainee at R&D in Hyvinkää facility. Ever since then I have been participating in organising KONE Global Youth Camp that welcomes teenagers of KONE employees from all over the world.  This year we had a bit more than 120 campers and 30 staff members from over 30 countries. 

New Maintenance Offering sales tool was developed based on an extensive service design research. The main idea of the tool is to meet the needs for the customized offering and customer-oriented sales approach. New KONE Care Contract tool allows to co-create the tender together with the customer and adjust the contract according to customer’s real needs rather than assumptions. Flexibility of the solution puts contract renegotiation at ease.
